Gradually Clear in the Mist

Having lived in Taipei for over a year now, I still haven’t gotten used to the fog, but I have gradually found a way to coexist with it.
How can one coexist with the fog? It’s so difficult! I really don’t like it! But these days have made me understand the importance of boundaries even more.
By setting proper boundaries, it seems I can ignore the sticky constraints from the outside and better find my inner light! Just like the mountain in this painting, compared to the “Like Mist” murkiness of the one I painted last year, this work finally emits a clear light from deep within.
